Section 4000.250  Firebreaks

Where boundary firebreaks are

needed, they shall be constructed in a buffer area outside the preserve if

possible.  Firebreaks within a preserve shall be kept to a minimum and shall be

constructed only in accordance with the master plan or management schedule.

Temporary firebreaks, made by mowing, raking, or wetting, may be used in

conjunction with a prescribed burn, pursuant to Section 4000.435.
