Refund Policy
If the product is not right for your firm, tell us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. After that, you can cancel any time and you will not be billed again.
In effect from September 21, 2026
What this covers
This policy applies to subscriptions and usage charges bought directly from us. If you bought through a reseller or under a signed order form, that agreement governs instead.
It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Your first payment
If you are not satisfied, write to us within 14 days of your first subscription payment and we will refund it in full, no explanation required. This applies once per firm.
Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically. We email before an annual renewal so it never arrives unannounced.
- Monthly plans: cancel any time. The current month is not refunded, and you keep access until it ends.
- Annual plans: if a renewal was not intended, tell us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it, provided the account has had only incidental use in that period.
- Cancelling mid-term does not produce a partial refund. Access continues to the end of the period you paid for.
Usage charges
Charges for what has already been consumed — call minutes, transcription, document processing beyond a plan allowance — are not refundable, because the cost was incurred on your behalf when it was used.
If a usage charge is wrong, or was caused by a fault in the service, tell us and we will correct it.
Upgrades and downgrades
- Upgrading takes effect immediately, and you are charged the difference for the remainder of the period.
- Downgrading takes effect at the next renewal. The difference is not refunded for the current period.
- Removing seats follows the same rule: the seat stays available until the period ends.
If the service fails
If a sustained outage or defect prevents you from using a plan you paid for, tell us and we will credit or refund the affected period. We would rather fix it and make it right than argue about whether it counted.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here reduces a right you have under consumer law. If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract, which runs alongside this policy. Where local law gives you more than this policy does, local law applies.
How to ask
Write to support@frixlaw.com from the email on the account, with the invoice number and a line about what happened. We answer within two business days, and approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
Chargebacks
Please come to us before raising a chargeback. A disputed charge suspends the account automatically while the bank investigates, which is slower and more disruptive than simply asking us for the money back.
Written to be read. If a line here is unclear, or you need it in a form your own counsel can mark up, write to support@frixlaw.com and we will send it.
