(20 ILCS 1705/1) (from Ch. 91 1/2, par. 100-1) Sec. 1. Purpose. The purpose of this Act is to consolidate in one statute certain powers and duties of the Department of Human Services relating to mental health and developmental disabilities. (Source: P.A. 89-507, eff. 7-1-97.)
