01. Scope. These rules apply to the exploration and extraction of all crude oil and natural gas resource s in the state of Idaho, not including biogas, manufactured gas, or landfill gas, regardless of ownership. (7-1-25) 02. Other Laws. Owners or operators engaged in the exploration and extraction of crude oil an d natural gas resources will comply with all applicable laws and rules of the state of Idaho including, but not limited t o rules administered by the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (IDEQ) and rules administered by the Idah o Department of Water Resources (IDWR).
