The opinion

Bibb G. Mims raises no issue on appeal as to the trial court's finding that Mims's March 13, 2000, filing of a financing statement did not continue the perfection of Mims's security interest in the 1991 cotton picker so as to cause that security interest to maintain a higher priority than First Citizens Bank's security interest in that same equipment. The correctness of that finding is therefore not before us and, in light of Mims's continued perfection of his security interest by his taking possession of the 1991 cotton picker, is not an issue that we must reach in order to decide this appeal. My concurrence in the main opinion should not be construed as expressing *Page 1106

an opinion as to the correctness of the trial court's finding as to this issue.
