The opinion

"It is well established that an appellate court will not consider an argument raised for the first time on appeal; its review is limited to evidence and arguments considered by the trial court." Stephens v. Stephens , 699 So.2d 194 , 196

(Ala.Civ.App. 1997). The record does not reveal that the wife asserted in the trial court, either before the entry of its final judgment or in a postjudgment motion, that the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution mandated a hearing before a guardian ad litem could be appointed for her. Accordingly, I must dissent from reversing the trial court's judgment based upon that issue.
