In addition to appointments made pursuant to § 62-18-103 , the board shall also consist of one (1) member who shall be appointed by the governor for a six-year term, each term to begin on July 1 and who shall not be engaged in the practice of land surveying. The member shall be a resident of this state and shall possess good moral character. Acts 1979, ch. 21, § 2; T.C.A., § 62-1804; Acts 1983, ch. 257, § 1.
