(a) Whenever the commissioner believes, from evidence satisfactory to the commissioner, that any foreign or alien company is violating or is about to violate § 56-2-105 , the commissioner may, through the attorney general and reporter, cause a bill to be filed in the chancery court of Davidson County to enjoin and restrain the company from continuing the violation, engaging in the violation or doing any act in furtherance of the violation. (b) The court shall have jurisdiction of the proceeding and shall have the power to make and enter an order or decree awarding the preliminary or final injunctive relief as in its judgment is proper.
