Whenever, pursuant to any law of the United States or regulation of the veterans administration, it is necessary, prior to payment of benefits, that a guardian be appointed, the appointment may be made in the manner provided in §§ 34-5-106 - 34-5-110. Acts 1943, ch. 90, § 3; C. Supp. 1950, § 8558.4 (Williams, §8542); T.C.A. (orig. ed.), § 34-904.
