Text
(A) All licenses provided for in this chapter expire December thirty-first of the year dated to expire. A person holding a current valid license may renew the license upon payment of applicable fees and without reexamination. (B) The director by regulation shall establish provisions, which may not include reexamination, unless required to do so under federal law, to ensure that certified applicators continue to meet the requirements of changing technology and to ensure a continuing level of competence and ability to use pesticides safely and properly. (C) If a license is not renewed by April first of the calendar year following its expiration, the licensee shall take another examination. If application for renewal of a license is not filed before January first annually, a penalty of twenty-five percent of the original fee must be assessed.
