Notwithstanding ORS 12.110 (Actions for certain injuries to person not arising on contract) the victim of any compensable crime as defined in ORS 147.005 (Definitions) or the victim’s representative may bring an action at any time within the five-year period after the commission of the compensable crime. [1985 c.552 §5]

Note: 147.065 (Limitation on time for commencing action for compensable crime) was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 147 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
