September 30, 2011 House Bill 86 - 129th General Assembly As used in Chapter 5149. of the Revised Code: (A) "Authority" means the adult parole authority created by section 5149.02 of the Revised Code. (B) "State correctional institution," "pardon," "commutation," "reprieve," "parole," "head of a state correctional institution," "convict," "prisoner," "parolee," "final release," and "parole violator" have the same meanings as in section 2967.01 of the Revised Code. (C) "Full board hearing" means a parole board hearing conducted by a majority of parole board members as described in section 5149.101 of the Revised Code.
