April 9, 2025 Senate Bill 95 - 135th General Assembly If the state medical board determines under section 4772.04 of the Revised Code that an applicant meets the requirements for a license to practice as a certified mental health assistant, the secretary of the board shall register the applicant as a certified mental health assistant and issue to the applicant a license to practice as a certified mental health assistant. The license shall be valid for a two-year period unless revoked or suspended, shall expire on the date that is two years after the date of issuance, and may be renewed for additional two-year periods in accordance with section 4772.08 of the Revised Code.
