March 20, 2026 Senate Bill 56 - 136th General Assembly There is hereby established a division of cannabis control in the department of commerce under the supervision and direction of the superintendent of marijuana control as established under section 121.04 of the Revised Code. The cannabis control program is hereby established in the division of cannabis control. The division shall provide for the licensure of marijuana cultivators, processors, retail dispensaries, and laboratories that test marijuana. The division shall also provide for the registration of patients and their caregivers. The division shall administer the cannabis control program. Last updated January 20, 2026 at 10:47 AM
