119.03 The department may issue emergency administrative certification in emergency situations or for administrative reasons determined by the department. Emergency administrative certification will be issued for a duration of up to ninety days. Subsequent administrative certification periods are at the discretion of the department. The emergency administrative certification expires on the date determined by the department unless a subsequent emergency administrative certificate is issued. Before the certification expires, the department will notify the provider of its options which will vary depending on the circumstances that precipitated the issuance of the emergency administrative certification.
