Subpart 1. Purpose. This chapter on professional conduct is adopted for the purpose of implementing the laws and rules governing the practice of architecture, engineering, land surveying, landscape architecture, and geoscience, and the use of the title of certified interior design. Subp. 2. Scope. This chapter is applicable to and binding upon each person, corporation, or partnership subject to the regulatory jurisdiction of the board. Subp. 3. Professional responsibility. A. The professional conduct of a licensee or certificate holder must be in accordance with this chapter. B. When providing professional services, the licensee's or certificate holder's primary responsibility is the protection of the public's health, safety, and welfare.
