IRC Chapter 3 is amended by adding a new section to read as follows: R300.1 Occupancy classification. Structures or portions of structures shall be classified with respect to occupancy in one or more of the groups in accordance with Table R300.1. Table R300.1 Occupancy Classifications IRC-1 Dwelling, single-family IRC-2 Dwelling, two-family IRC-3 Townhouse IRC-4 Accessory structures
