Section 1. If a license has been expired for more than five (5) years, an applicant for relicensure shall meet the requirements established in this section. (1) A barber shall pass both the practical and written examination. (2) To regain an apprentice license, an apprentice barber shall: (a) Complete 150 additional hours in training in a barber school licensed by the board; and (b) Pass the practical and written examinations. (3) An instructor shall pass both practical and written examinations, in accordance with 201 KAR 14:115.
