Section 725.44

Cross-Contamination Protection

Precautions shall be taken to

prevent cross-contamination (animal feed to human food, etc.) among the various

types of merchandise which are salvageable or salvaged. Precautionary measures

which may prevent cross-contamination include, but are not limited to,

segregration of items by location, and not storing non-human foods, toxins or

other food items directly above or contiguous to human foods, drugs, cosmetics,

medical devices or alcoholic beverages.
