(755 ILCS 50/5-5) (was 755 ILCS 50/3) Sec. 5-5. Persons who may execute an anatomical gift. (a) An anatomical gift of a donor's body or part that is to be carried out upon the donor's death may be made during the life of the donor for the purpose of transplantation, therapy, research, or education by: (1) the donor, if the donor is an adult, an emancipated minor, or 16 or 17 years of age
