(40 ILCS 5/1-103.1) (from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 1-103.1) Sec. 1-103.1. Application of amendments. Amendments to this Code which have been or may be enacted shall be applicable only to persons who, on or after the effective date thereof, are in service as an employee under the retirement system or pension fund covered by the Article which is amended, unless the amendatory Act specifies otherwise.
