(230 ILCS 40/26) Sec. 26. Residency requirement. Each licensed distributor, terminal operator, and person with a substantial interest in a licensed distributor or terminal operator must be an Illinois resident. However, if an out-of-state distributor or terminal operator has performed its respective business within Illinois for at least 48 months prior to the effective date of this Act, the out-of-state person may be eligible for licensing under this Act, upon application to and approval of the Board. The Board shall adopt rules to implement this Section. (Source: P.A. 96-38, eff. 7-13-09.)
