01. Chiropractic Assistant. A chiropractic assistant is an individual functioning in a dependen t relationship with a supervising chiropractic physician in the performance of any chiropractic practice. (3-28-23) 02. Chiropractic Intern. A chiropractic intern is defined as any individual who is presently enrolled i n a school of chiropractic and is qualified to practice as an intern as established by the approved chiropractic progra m that the individual attends and who will function in a dependent relationship with a supervising chiropractic physicia n in the performance of chiropractic practice. (7-1-25) 03. Direct Personal Supervision. Direct Personal Supervision means that the licensed chiropracti c physician is physically present in the clinic, is monitoring the activities of the supervisee, and is available t o intervene, if necessary. (3-28-23) 04. Clinical Nutritional Practice. Clinical nutritional methods, without clinical nutrition certification , is defined as the clinical use, administration, recommendation, prescribing, selling, and distributing over-the-counte r vitamins, minerals, botanical medicine, herbals, homeopathic, phytonutrients, antioxidants, enzymes, glandula r extracts, peptides, amino acids, and durable and non-durable medical goods and devices.
