18-6.5-105. Preferential trial dates of cases involving crimes against at-risk persons. Consistent with the constitutional right to a speedy trial, all cases involving the commission of a crime against an at-risk person must take precedence before the court, and the court shall hear these cases as soon as possible after they are filed.
