Rule 5

The Department shall provide notice of the scheduled permanency hearing date to the foster parent, pre-adoptive parent or relative providing care for the child who is the subject of the petition pursuant to

G.L. c. 119, § 29D

. The Department shall provide notice of the scheduled permanency hearing date to the Department of Youth Services if the child or young adult is committed to the care or custody of the Department of Youth Services. Failure of the Department to comply with this section shall not preclude the court from proceeding with the permanency hearing.
