Record Retention Requirements

All rate and form filing records, including evidence of approval by the

Insurance Division, must be retained as long as they are in use and for at least

three (3) years after the carrier has notified the Department that the form has been

withdrawn or superseded. Licensees should refer to 230-RICR-20-60-4 (formerly

Insurance Regulation 67), R.I. Gen. Laws § 27-29-4(13) and 230-RICR-20-40-2.4

(formerly Insurance Regulation 73) for additional record retention requirements.
