Please be advised that the Connecticut Insurance Department hereby rescinds Bulletin CL-2, issued on April 2, 1992. Insurers and motor vehicle repair service providers are directed to Section 12-407 (2)(i)(M)-1 of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies at the following link:

Department of Revenue Services

concerning sales tax collection for repair services to motor vehicles.
