Care Center
Recent News
The Mescalero Care
Center has had a very
busy month of activities. We celebrated
Halloween by having
trick or treating for
the community children. Our residents
and staff dressed up
and gave away pounds
and pounds of candy.
The Care Center is
noted for its
"Halloween Haunted
Hallway" and this year
it didn’t disappoint!
The kids really enjoyed
being "scared". It was
great fun. The day
continued with a
party, costume contest, and cupcake wars

Boys & Girls Club
We have been busy with new projects each day with club members.
Each day, a new craft or activity is
offered along with a snack and
power hour. We have implemented
new power hour activities that include multiplication and sight word
flash cards, time puzzles and sight
word games. It is amazing to see
the children excel in their work.
Please ensure your child has a
sweater or jacket every day, as it
is getting cold out and the children
are eager to play outside. As always, if you have any ideas for activities please do not hesitate to
let us know!

Another event we had in November
was our “Head Start Potluck

We had a wonderful

grateful for all our Veterans for their service and

You will still laugh and love,
We the family of Eli
Hosetosavit wish to thank
everyone for their kindness
and generosity. All your
prayers, donations and hugs
were of great comfort to
each of us during our time
of sadness. We have been
blessed by the abundance
of family and friends who
came forward and donated
food, flowers, money or
just a much needed hug. Eli
(Dad, brother, uncle,
nephew) may now rest in
peace. Although he will be
greatly missed we know
that he is in a Special place
and we will be reunited
someday. God bless each
and every one of you.
You will still sing and dance,
Erick (Hosetosavit) Pena
You will still hug and kiss,
Ericka Hosetosavit
You’re still here in my heart and mind
Still making me laugh cause your stories live on.
I hold you in a thought and I can feel you.
I feel you and this gives me strength and courage.
The tears I have cried for you
could flood the earth.
And I know you have wiped each one away.
I will always hold you in my heart.
I promise you I will be missing you
every day till the end of time.
But this is not my end and I can’t
hold my head underwater.
I need to breathe.
I need to love and miss you, but I also
need to live because through me you will live,
You will forever be a brother, a son,
Marcia Hosetosavit & family
a father, an uncle, a grandfather and friend.
Everett Second Sr. & family
I am going to miss your shining face.
You gave me strength
Fred Second & family
