Public Information Collection Requirement Submitted to the Office
of Management and Budget (OMB) for Review
action: Notice.

The Department of Defense has submitted to OMB for clearance, the
following proposal for collection of information under the provisions
of the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. chapter 35).
Title: Good Neighbor Survey.
Type of Request: New collection.
Number of Respondents: 700.
Responses per Respondent: 1.
Annual Responses: 700.
Average Burden per Responses: 0.8 hours.
Annual Burden Hours: 56.
Needs and Uses: The Air Force Materiel Command wishes to determine
if it is being a good neighbor in the 14 locations where its bases are
located. Each base would invite local community people to the base for
an informal gathering where the six question survey would be
administered. The information collected hereby will additionally be
used to determine future community relations actions.
Affected Public: Individuals or households.
Frequency: Annually.
Respondent's Obligation: Voluntary.
OMB Desk Officer: Mr. Edward C. Springer.
Written comments and recommendations on the proposed information
collection should be sent to Mr. Springer at the Office of Management
and Budget, Desk Officer for DoD, room 3235, New Executive Office
Building, Washington, DC 20503.
