Notwithstanding § 39-17-1307 , or any other law, it is lawful in this state for a person to purchase, and have shipped directly to such person's residence, the following: (1) A black powder weapon; provided, that it meets the definition of 18 U.S.C. § 921 ; (2) A knife, even if the blade is in excess of four inches (4"); or (3) A sword or bayonet, whether for ornamental, ceremonial, historical, theatrical or collecting purposes, or otherwise.
