Position Summary: The Dishwasher/Buser is responsible for maintaining cleanliness,
sanitation, and organization across kitchen and guest-facing dining areas. This role supports
both back-of-house and front-of-house operations by ensuring dishware, utensils, and food
service areas are consistently clean, while also assisting with clearing tables, resetting dining
spaces, and enhancing the overall guest experience. A culture that values learning and

This position reflects updated responsibilities based on current organizational needs
and community engagement expectations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils,
and kitchen equipment
• Maintain a steady workflow to support kitchen operations during peak hours
• Properly store all clean items in designated areas
• Remove trash and recycling; maintain clean waste areas
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen floors and workstations
• Assist kitchen staff with basic prep tasks as assigned
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines in compliance with ServSafe
standards

Clear tables promptly and reset for incoming guests
• Wipe down tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, party rooms, and common guest
spaces
• Refill condiments, napkins, and service stations
• Support servers and front-line staff to ensure efficient service flow
• Assist with guest needs in a courteous and professional manner
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED, PREFERRED.
18+ years (due to bar service requirements). REQUIRED.
Previous dishwashing, busser, or food service experience, PREFERRED.
Prior experience working in an active and/or hospitality environment such as hotel,
attraction, theme park, casino, big box store/supermarket, school, community center,
camp or similar location is a plus. PREFERRED.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
Adult + Child + Infant CPR, AED, and First Aid certification is a plus
Must obtain or be willing to obtain food handler certification. REQUIRED.
Must pass a background check (as required by employer policy)
