Corbin Eddings made a motion to accept Pam Hunt as the secretary Designee in the absence of Sharon
Hunt,

Nichols former Administrative Court Justice, Sheila Beck former Election Board Chair, former Senior Miss
Lumbee Mable Moses, Anita Blanks former Tribal Council, Tammy Maynor acting Tribal Administrator, and
recognized LaKishia Sweat, former Tribal Council and new assistant to the Tribal Council and recognized
Perline Revels former Tribal Council.

Community Comments
Kevin Carter District 13 - Mr. Carter expressed concems regarding a Boys & Girls Club in their district.
Anita Blanks District 9 - Ms, Blanks expressed concerns of Ordinance 2005-0007, this ordinance states in Section
2 the Tribal Council should appoint tribal members who are not seated on the Tribal Council - Section 3 states
possible appointees should be Tribal Members and not seated on the Tribal Council. Expressed that out of a tribe
of 35000 that no one could be found other than someone on the Tribal Council. Ms. Blanks also stated on how she
should be able to express her concerns to her representative. Ms. Blanks also recommended that the Resolutions
to be voted on be posted to the website so that the public can reach out to their representatives for input.

Corbin Eddings to the UNITED TRIBES OF NORTH CAROLINA (he will serve a two year term), and for
Vernanda Oxendine to the NC COMMISSION OF INDIAN AFFAIRS (he will serve a three year term).

Presentation to Rebecca Asser for her contribution in assisting in the restoration of Maxton Pond. Council
Members Wendy Moore, Shelley Strickland, and Annie Taylor presented Ms. Asser with a plaque from
Chairman John L. Lowery and the Tribal Council. Council member, Annie Taylor stated the community
help of cleaning Hayes Pond between both Scotland and Robeson County has been great, and hopes that
the efforts continue to remain diligent. Ms. Asser expressed her gratitude for the experience to help
rebuild Maxton Pond.
