To accept the FY 2022 Traditional Foods and Foodways
Funding in the amount of $500.00 to help purchase root
diggers for Spring Camas and Bitterroot digging. Chairman

To accept the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction
Interlocal Agreement (federal ID #91-0557683) for
implementation of the "Since Time Immemorial Tribally
Developed Curriculum Project," to establish Colville
specific place-based curriculum as a resource for school
districts located on aboriginal territories to increase local
school district knowledge of Colville tribal history, culture,
and governance and provide tools and resources for
educators' use and implementation in the classroom. Chair

To approve the attached Cooperative Agreement for
Wildland Fire Management Non-recurring funds. The new
agreement will authorize commercial contracting between
the BIA and Colville Tribes for use and mandatory
reimbursement of non-recurring suppression, emergency
stabilization, and severity funds. This agreement will
provide a mechanism to reimburse the Tribe for the actual
costs incurred while performing work to support one
time/critical need requirements for suppression. Chair or

the amount of $80,000.00 to help with Mt. Tolman Fire

importance of tribal sovereignty and how it relates to
hunting rights. Spokespersons will be appointed informally
in the near future. The Chairman or his designee is
authorized to sign all pertinent documents.
That Dr. Andrea Laforet, the expert genealogist who has
assembled 25 existing Sinixt genealogies and testified in the
Desautel hunting case, be granted express permission to
conduct additional genealogical research, including
interviews with elders and document review, for the purpose
of assembling additional genealogies for use of CCT
members and information for the development of
membership criteria for Sinixt Confederacy. All information
obtained is under the sole ownership of the Confederated
Tribes of the Colville Reservation and its proprietary to the
Tribes pursuant to Colville Tribal Code section 6-6-6. The
Tribes reserves the right to comment and edit all documents
prior to any publication of any information about the Tribes,
its culture, and/or its history. No information or data
gathered in the course of this project, nor any conclusions
based on that information or data, may be released or
disseminated in any form without the express prior written
consent of the Tribes. All proprietary rights, including any
data collected or created from that data, will be owned by
the Tribes. The Chairman or his designee is authorized to
