Approve application for RUS Community Connect

Broadband Grant for support on extension of fiberoptic

(broadband) service, the development of a wide-area

distributive network and a community content portal to serve

the community and to enhance Tribal services and Tribal

government services in Nespelem and its census district. No

tribal dollars.

Approve to waive the donation policy and authorize $7,000

to purchase 4,000 lbs. of salmon for Tribal Gatherings to be

funded from Donations Funds and amend the budget

accordingly.

Approve to waive the donation policy and authorize $1,000

for the Icicle Pow Wow to be funded from the Donations

Fund and amend the budget accordingly.

The Tribe has listing of 4 Priority Projects (2004-123) and

Silver Creek Road is the only project on this list currently on

the IRR Inventory and eligible for funding; this proposal is

for BIA funding of Preliminary Design of 26 miles of Silver

Creek Road.

Approve Research Permit to Ms. Nan McNutt titled “Canoes

Upon Our Waters”. Ms. McNutt will view documents and

photos pertaining to canoes with the staff and students at

Nespelem Elementary. Other Washington State students

will post the completed documents produced by Nespelem

School Students on Washington Education Website for

viewing. History/Archaeology will review document prior

to posting on website and will be required to provide a copy

of documents to Archives for archival purposes.

Approve the nomination of Dr. Tony Mattina for the Ken

Hale Award for his contribution to CCT in preserving our

Indian language.

Approve reappointment of Steven D. Aycock as Chief Judge

for a six-year term beginning February 1, 2005. Chair or

designee to sign.

Approve attorney contract with Sterling Lane Throssell for a

tree year period with CCT Legal Services Dept. Chair or

designee to sign.

Approve to amend 2004-123 to add CIR Route numbers to

Roads Priority Listing.

Approve USDA 5-Star funding for the Keller Community in

the amount of $31,773.80 for Keller Sewer Project; Artwork

and aesthetics for San Poil Valley Health Center; and Senior

Approve the development of a comprehensive traffic safety

management plan on the Colville Reservation. Through

grant established by Wa. State Community Traffic Safety

Program, CCT has resources to develop a Tribal Traffic

Safety Task Force. Task Force contact person will be the

Chair of the Community Development Committee.

Approve MOA for Phase 1 of the Proposed I.H.S Project for

upgrading of the Nespelem Community sewer system, which

is locate on the Colville Reservation, utilizing I.H.S funds

and EPA Clean Water Act Indian Set Aside funds for a total

amount of $704,000. No tribal dollars and Chair or designee

to sign.
