National Drinking Water Advisory Council Consumer Confidence

Working Group; Notice of Open Meeting

Under Section 10(a)(2) of Public Law 92-423, ``The Federal Advisory

Committee Act,'' notice is hereby given for upcoming meetings of the

Consumer Confidence Working Group of the National Drinking Water

Advisory Council (established under the Safe Drinking Water Act, as

amended (42 U.S.C. 300f et seq.)), to be held April 3, 1997, from 1:00

p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and April 4, 1997, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the

Westin City Center, 1400 M Street NW, Washington, DC; and May 8, 1997,

from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and May 9, 1997, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00

p.m. at the Dupont Plaza Hotel, 1500 New Hampshire Ave. NW, Washington

DC.

The purpose of the meetings is to discuss drafts of rule language

and attendant documents. The meetings are open to the public, but

seating is limited. Statements from the public will be taken at the end

of the meeting if time allows.
