Draft Environmental Assessment of the Proposal To Modify the

Operation of McPhee Reservoir and Acquire Additional Water for Fish and

Wildlife Purposes, Dolores Project, Colorado River Storage Project,

Colorado

AGENCY: Bureau of Reclamation, Interior.

ACTION: Notice of Availability of Draft Environmental Assessment and

Public Comment Period.

SUMMARY: Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act and agency

policy, the Bureau of Reclamation will provide the public an

opportunity to comment on the draft Environmental Assessment (EA) of

the proposal to modify the operation of McPhee Dam and acquire

additional water for downstream releases to the Dolores River for

fishery and wildlife habitat enhancement purposes.

DATES: Comments on the draft EA must be received by April 3, 1995.
