AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

ACTION: Proposed rule; Extension of the comment period.

SUMMARY: EPA is extending the comment period for a proposed rule

published August 25, 1994 (59 FR 43797). On August 25, 1994, EPA

proposed interim approval of the operating permits program submitted by

the State of Louisiana. EPA received letters from Louisiana Chemical

Association and Louisiana Association of Business and Industry

requesting a 30 day extension of the public comment period, and a

verbal request from Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality.

Therefore, EPA is extending the comment period until October 26, 1994.

DATES: Comments must be received in writing on or before October 26,

1994.
