Assessment/FONSI

This notice serves to inform the public of the availability of the

Environmental Assessment (EA) and draft Finding of No Significant

Impact (FONSI) prepared by the U.S. General Services Administration for

the proposed construction of a new United States Border Station in

Highgate Springs, Vermont. Comments on the proposed action may be

submitted in writing during the 30-day public comment period, which

starts on August 19, 1994, and ends on September 19, 1994. The Finding

of No Significant Impact will be signed and become final after

completion of the public comment period, provided that no information

leading to a contrary finding is received or comes to light during the

30-day comment period.
