Sorbitol From France; Termination of Antidumping Duty

Administrative Review

AGENCY: Import Administration, International Trade Administration,

Department of Commerce.

ACTION: Notice of Termination of Antidumping Duty Administrative

Review.

SUMMARY: On April 29, 1994, Lonza Inc., a domestic manufacturer of

sorbitol, withdrew its request for an administrative review of the

antidumping duty order on sorbitol from France for the period April 1,

1993 through March 31, 1994. The Department of Commerce (the

Department) is now terminating this review.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

Background

On April 29, 1994, the Department received a request from Lonza

Inc., a domestic manufacturer of sorbitol, to conduct an administrative

review of the antidumping duty order on sorbitol from France for the

period April 1, 1993 through March 31, 1994, pursuant to 19 CFR

353.22(a)(1) of the Department's regulations. We received no other

requests for an administrative review of the order.

On May 12, 1994, the Department published in the Federal Register a

notice of initiation of this review (59 FR 24683).

On June 7, 1994, Lonza Inc., timely withdrew its request for

administrative review and there were no other requests for

administrative review. Accordingly, the Department has determined to

terminate this administrative review.
