The following Applications for Certificates of Public Convenience

and Necessity and Foreign Air Carrier Permits were filed under Subpart

Q of the Department of Transportation's Procedural Regulations. (See 14

CFR 302.1701 et seq.) The due date for Answers, Conforming

Applications, or Motions to Modify Scope are set forth below for each

application. Following the Answer period DOT may process the

application by expedited procedures. Such procedures may consist of the

adoption of a show-cause order, a tentative order, or in appropriate

cases a final order without further proceedings.

Scope: August 15, 1994.

Description: Third Amendment to Application of LTU Lufttransport-

Unternehmen GmbH. & Co. KG pursuant to Section 402 of the Act and

Subpart Q of the Regulations, to include authority for scheduled

service between any point or points in the Federal Republic of Germany

and New York, Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Bangor, Fort

Myers, and Orlando, and beyond, and provide such other and further

relief as the Department may deem proper.

Scope: August 17, 1994.

Description: Application of Jetstream International Airlines, Inc.,

pursuant to Section 401(d)(1) of the Act and Subpart Q of the

Regulations, applies for a certificate of public convenience and

necessity authorizing interstate and overseas scheduled air

transportation of persons, property and mail.

Scope: August 17, 1994.

Description: Application of American Airlines, Inc., pursuant to

Section 401 of the Act and Subpart Q of the Regulations, applies for

renewal and amendment of its certificate for Route 576, issued by Order

89-12-43, December 11, 1989, authorizing scheduled foreign air

transportation of persons, property, and mail between Chicago,

Illinois, and Glasgow/Prestwick, Scotland.
