AGENCY: International Trade Administration/Import Administration/

Department of Commerce.

ACTION: Notice of Request for Revocation of the Countervailing Duty

Order.

SUMMARY: The Department of Commerce has received a request from the

Government of New Zealand for revocation of the countervailing duty

order on lamb meat from New Zealand.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

Background

On September 30, 1993, the Government of New Zealand submitted a

request for revocation of the countervailing duty order on lamb meat

from New Zealand (50 FR 37708; September 17, 1985). This request will

be considered by the Department in conjunction with the administrative

review of this order initiated on October 18, 1993. (See Initiation of

Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Administrative Reviews; Recision of

Initiation, (58 FR 53710; October 18, 1993)). This notice is issued

pursuant to 19 CFR 355.25(c)(2)(i)(1992).
