Law Board (Advisory), Northwestern University Law School

Reimbursement — Federal Judges Association — The Assn covered the cost of two nights lodging and airfare to the Quadrennial Conf. in Washington, D.C., where 1 served as a panelist.

Pertaining to Section VII, Investments and Trusts:

* - Two funds are represented here deriving from the Estate o

ne being an amount o

vested in a mutual fund, Legg Mason

Partners Apprec. Fund. The rest of the Citigroup funds were cash. On June 13,

mera AEd

06, I directed the rollover of all the Smith Barney funds to Ameriprise Financial,

-

which was done. However, for reasons not pertinent here, the mutual fund could not be rolled over, so on August 13, I directed that it be liquidated and deposited

with Ameriprise. This transaction was the first time I can find that Legg Mason appeared on my periodic statements from Smith Bamey, which explains (to me)

why it did not appear on my 2005 financial disclosure report.

** - The statements have a category called "income." It does not identify the nature of the income as dividends, interest, etc.
