## Text

This chapter governs SML's administration and enforcement of
 Finance Code Chapter 157, the Mortgage Banker Registration and Residential
 Mortgage Loan Originator License Act, concerning the registration
 and operations of mortgage bankers. This chapter applies to persons
 registered with SML as a mortgage banker or those required to be registered.
