## Text

In FY 2024, for purposes of transitioning to the new formula
 model, if the sum of a public junior college district's Base and Performance
 Tier funding as calculated in §13.473(a) and §13.474(a)
 of this subchapter (relating to Base Tier Allotment and Performance
 Tier Funding, respectively) would result in the district receiving
 less in General Revenue formula funding than the district received
 through the sum of appropriations made in the core operations strategy,
 student success strategy, contact hour funding strategy, and, if applicable,
 the need-based supplement and bachelor of applied technology strategies,
 as provided for FY 2023 in the 2022-23 General Appropriations Act,
 then the Coordinating Board will add transitional funding in the amount
 of the difference to the district's formula funding for FY 2024.
