## Text

A certified copy of the sentence shall be delivered with each inmate to the warden of the penitentiary and registered in a book kept by the warden for that purpose. Code 1858, § 5495; Shan., § 7515; Code 1932, § 12111; T.C.A. (orig. ed.), § 41-204.
