## Text

The purpose of this chapter is to set forth procedures to enforce health care coverage provisions obtained pursuant to § 15-5-16.2(d)(2) through the use of the National Medical Support Notice, subsequently referred to as the €œmedical notice.€ However, the medical notice is not to be issued when the court orders an individual to contribute a weekly cash amount towards the health care coverage provided by the custodial parent or the state of Rhode Island.
