(7) Except as provided in division (B) of this section, the individual has passed the licensing examination administered under section 4751.15 of the Revised Code. (8) The individual has paid to the board three hundred fifty dollars for a temporary license issued under division (B) of this section. (10) The individual has satisfied any additional requirements as may be prescribed in rules adopted under section 4751.04 of the Revised Code. (B) Beginning January 1, 2025, the operator of a nursing home may request that the board issue a nursing home administrator license to an individual who meets the requirements specified in division (A) of this section but has not passed the licensing examination administered under section 4751.15 of the Revised Code, in order to fill a vacancy in the position of nursing home administrator at the nursing home resulting from a death, illness, or other unexpected cause. An individual issued a license under division (B) of this section shall submit to the board, not later than one hundred eighty days after a license is issued, satisfactory evidence that the individual has passed the licensing examination administered under section 4751.15 of the Revised Code.
