# Ind. Code § 12-12.7-2-9: Appointment and terms of council members

## Text

Sec. 9. (a) The governor shall make the initial appointments under section 8 of this chapter with staggered terms and subsequent appointments for terms of three (3) years. However, a member shall continue to serve until a successor is appointed.

(b) A council member may be reappointed for succeeding terms.
