Section 1066.80  Hearings
a)         Prior
to the denial of a certification of an applicant or existing provider, the
Department shall send written notice to the provider.  If a formal hearing is
requested in writing in accordance with 92 Ill. Adm. Code 1001.Subpart A and IVC
Section 2-118, the denial shall stand pending the outcome of the hearing. The
denial of a certification shall contain the specific reasons why the certification
has been denied.
b)         Prior
to the suspension or revocation of a provider's certification, the Department
will conduct a hearing in accordance with 92 Ill. Adm. Code 1001.Subpart A and IVC
Section 2-118, in which the Department will present competent evidence to
establish violations of any regulations or laws governing providers and seek
the appropriate sanctions in accordance with Section 1066.90.
