## Text

01. Written Authorization Required. Any notice, request to do work, or request to change previously approved plans, must be filed with the Department in writing unless otherwise directed, and must be approved before work begins. Such approval may be given orally and thereafter confirmed by the Department in writing. (7-1-25) 02. Emergency Authorization. In case of emergency, or a situation where operations might be unduly delayed, written notice required by these rules and regulations may be given orally or electronically and if approval i s obtained, confirmed in writing. (7-1-25) 03. Publication of Legal Notices. Whenever these rules require publication of a legal notice in a newspaper, the notice must be published once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks. (7-1-25)
